Marguerite Young was a sincere Christian woman who was a faithful member of her church and an unwavering supporter of theological education for the training of faithful Christian ministers.
Pursue a degree or studies in: Theology Institution at which to use scholarship: seminary, college/university Complete an application. Submit Letter of Acceptance from the seminary, college/university which you attend. If a seminary intern, submit a copy of his/her seminary internship placement. Maintain a GPA of: 3.50 Write and submit an essay: 500 words or less (each question): Where do you see your self in 10 years? 20 years? 30 years? Describe your view of the nature and role of scripture in your ministry.
Persons eligible for scholarships are persons who intend to be or already are missionaries. One should have a heart for mission, and should be serious about full-time ministry as a missionary. It is preferred, but not required, that such a person be committed to Lutheran theology. It is primarily intended that the contemplated missionary service be outside the United States, but such missionary service may include service to immigrant or ethnic groups within the United States, and might possibly include service to unchurched people in the United States.

Opal Dancey Memorial Foundation exists to provide funds for seminary students to pursue their call to pulpit ministry.
The grant application must be completed online. No hard copy applications or letters of recommendation will be accepted by the Foundation. All applicants that have not received a grant may apply again, however, they must complete a new application.
All applications must be received April 15th to be considered. References must be completed by April 15 as well.
Eligibility: ?Grants are awarded for the study of a Master of Divinity degree only. No grants will be awarded for any other course of study.
To be eligible, the candidate must be a full time student and fulfill one of the following three requirements:
1. Plan to attend an accredited theological seminary located within the Great Lakes region
2. Plan to attend Asbury Theological Seminary
3. Be a resident of the Great Lakes region or have been a resident for at least 2 years of a Great Lakes state. In this situation the applicant can attend an accredited theological seminary outside of the Great Lakes region.

The Lydia Fund seeks to equip evangelical women for leadership in the PC(USA). Applicants must be female MDiv students involved in the candidate process of the PC(USA).
Applicants must be racial ethnic students whose permanent residence is within the bounds of the Synod of Lakes and Prairies. Be an active member in a congregation of the PCUSA, and be studying for preparation for ministry in the PCUSA or in a related ecumenical organization. Applicants must be enrolled at least half-time, in good academic standing, making progress toward a degree, and able to demonstrate financial need.
