Trustee Scholarship

Richard Wallace Scholarships

Criteria:

This scholarship recognizes leaders who are students of color or students from new immigrant communities in the M.Div or M.A. programs. There are a limited number of scholarships available for both part-time and full-time students.

Along with your application for admission, you must submit a reference form, a resume and an essay.

Presidential Scholarship

Criteria:

For incoming students starting in the Fall term only.

The renewable Presidential Scholarship is a scholarship for new, full-time students in the M.DIV. and M.A.programs (distance learning, dual degree and transfer students are not eligible).  This scholarship seeks to identify students who embody the Luther Seminary mission statement to "educate leaders for Christian communities."

A separate application, along with a reference form, resume and interview process is required.  Students with a minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher with leadership and ministry experience are encouraged to apply.  The interview will take place as part of the Luther Seminary Scholarship Weekend which occurs on February 23 and 24, 2014. 

The application deadline is January 31 and in order for the application considered to be complete, all required documents must be submitted by that date.
