ACT:
Alumni/ae Calling Team
God continues to call and send the church of Jesus Christ
into mission. He reminds us that "the harvest is plentiful, but
the laborers are few; therefore ask the Lord of the harvest to
send out laborers into his harvest." (Matthew 9:37-38)
- A recent survey indicated that 92% of Luther Seminary
alumni/ae have encouraged people with gifts for ministry to
pursue their call in the church.
- Beginning in 2003, hundreds of alums have made a specific,
intentional commitment to identify a minimum of two people with
gifts for ministry.
- This call to "ACT" continues and Luther Seminary alums invite
and encourage everyone to join in the identification and nurture
of future leaders of the church.
You may be the person needed to help someone discern their
call to ministry!
- Plant the Seed by praying for and
encouraging future church leaders.
- Sow the Field by providing ministry
opportunities for these leaders.
- And Prepare the Harvest by bringing those
with a gift for ministry to visit Luther Seminary.
