Toshi comes from an area of India torn by violence and political unrest. To aid in peace building, he wants to bring a deeper theological perspective. His efforts will focus on educating youth, who he hopes to empower to be a generation of change. "Based on my studies, I am sure that I can serve my people, especially [the] younger generation, better with a deeper understanding," he said. "I consider my opportunity to study at Luther...[a] blessing to my entire community. It's an amazing work of God in the world."
