What does it mean to be a disciple of Jesus? In weekly
discipleship groups, faculty and students study, pray and grow
in faith together.
Luther Seminary's pastor, John Mann, is
called to a ministry of Word and Sacrament. Pastor Mann
oversees worship and discipleship in the seminary community, and
is available as confidential counselor and confessor.
Spiritual formation describes a whole host of practices or
disciplines that enable us to grow in our relationship with God.
It includes practices such as: prayer, spiritual
reading, Sabbath-keeping and spiritual direction.
Schola Cantorum
Schola Cantorum, the Luther Seminary choir directed by Paul
Westermeyer, participates in the mid-week communion service. The
choir is open to all students, faculty, and staff of the seminary
community.
