A Community of Faith

Faith development is an integral component of your time at Luther Seminary.  Through opportunities such as weekday chapel, discipleship groups and music, we aim to foster a strong faith community on campus.

Worship

Weekday chapel is the center of community life. Join us in person at 11 a.m. during the academic year in the Chapel of the Incarnation or view chapel online live or when your schedule allows.

Discipleship

What does it mean to be a disciple of Jesus? In weekly discipleship groups, faculty and students study, pray and grow in faith together.

Spiritual Formation

Spiritual formation describes a whole host of practices or disciplines that enable us to grow in our relationships with God. It includes practices such as prayer, spiritual reading, Sabbath-keeping and spiritual direction.

Schola Cantorum

Schola Cantorum, the Luther Seminary choir, is directed by Professor of Church Music Paul Westermeyer and participates in the mid-week communion service. The choir is open to all students, faculty and staff in the seminary community.
