Ecumenical Partnership Scholarships

Each academic year, five to ten, one-year Ecumenical Partnership Scholarships are awarded to Luther Seminary students who are members of non-Lutheran religious traditions.

Who is eligible

  • Admitted students who are members of non-Lutheran religious traditions.
  • Master of Arts, Master of Sacred Music or Master of Divinity students.
  • Full-time seniors in good academic standing who have demonstrated sound leadership at Luther Seminary.
  • Full-time students -- three or more courses per semester -- are given highest priority.
  • Part-time degree students are eligible if the are taking at least two courses per semester.

Other considerations

  • Merit and financial need are both considered.
  • A recommendation letter is required from a denominational representative such as pastor or preparation for ministry committee.

Awards are announced in early summer and in January.
