To acquaint students with Lutheran and other liturgical orders, both old and new.

To familiarize students with symbols, architecture, music, language and ritual which enrich worship.

To help students develop a theological approach to worship and a critical evaluation of available worship resources.

To challenge the creative imagination of students to explore ways of renewing the worship life of congregations where they serve.

To assist students to use their abilities to become effective leaders of worship.
