Migration movements have been a primary way the Christian church has spread throughout the globe. In Minnesota, the number of African immigrants grew by 621% in the 1990s. Nowhere is Minnesota’s new diversity more apparent that in Minneapolis and St. Paul.

Explore the impact this change is having on the church in the Twin Cities, hear from congregational and religious leaders serving in a variety of settings, and learn from the experiences of Africans from different parts of the continent.

This year-long series of lectures will bring together speakers from different national origin and denominations. Participants who attend the entire series will receive a certificate of completion.

The lecture series is supported by a grant from the Louisville Institute.
