Jan. 12: Winter Retreat

Jan. 28-Feb. 25: Lay School
The Lay School of Theology at Luther Seminary is a program of informal, non-credit classes taught by seminary professors for lay persons. This winter, courses offered are How the Bible Came to Us: Its Writing, Use and Authority; Making Sense of the Cross; and Romans: Classic Text, Contemporary Manifesto for Faith. Spring classes run from March 18-April 15 and include The Holy Spirit; The Voice of Faith: The Psalms in Daily Life; and Your Faith has Made You Well: Healing in the Bible.

FEBRUARY

Feb. 5-7: Mid-Winter Convocation: Worship in a Time of Change
At this event, you’ll think out loud about how to be a leader in today’s changing world. Through stimulating presentations, practical workshops and inspiring worship, you’ll gain concepts and skills to navigate untrodden paths of the 21st century church. Click here for details.

Feb. 19: An Evening with Krista Tippett
Krista Tippett is the host of MPR’s Peabody-winning “On Being” (formerly “Speaking of Faith”). She will speak on campus at this event. Reserve your spot with Lynne Moratzka at 651-641-3419 or lmoratzk@luthersem.edu. Limited number of dinner reservations at the door.

APRIL

April 7-8: Dokimazo
This is an event at Luther seminary for discerning your invitation to Christian public leadership. Dokimazo combines Ventures and Day in the Life into a new exciting event. Don’t forget to sign up for this event, or encourage someone with gifts for ministry to do so.
