Archives serve as the gathered memory of the
organizations and institutions that support them. The collections of both the Region
3 Archives (covering the ELCA synods and congregations of North Dakota, South Dakota and
Minnesota) and the Luther Seminary Archives are gathered, organized, preserved and
made available in space provided by Luther Seminary.

Seminary is located one block east of Highway 280 and Como Avenue in St. Paul.
Both the ELCA Region 3 Archives and the Luther Seminary Archives are located on the third
floor (Rm. 308) of Gullixson Hall, the building that houses the library. In the map
to the left, Gullixson Hall is building "I" and is reached by taking a left-
hand turn off of Como Ave. on to Luther Place, with a quick left-hand turn into a large
parking lot.
From the Airport
Exit airport and get on 494 West. Continue on 494 until 35W north. Exit onto
35W north and go untill 94 east. Exit onto 94 east and stay in left lane.
After crossing the Mississippi River, exit (in the left lane) onto 280 north. After
a mile, exit onto Como Ave. Follow directions from above.
