boxes, folders, acid-free papers and protective photographic items. Of the companies
listed, Highsmith is the only one to offer the large equipment that libraries and archives
use for storage; for example, shelving units and display cases.

Conservation, a Manual on Physical Care and Management
(Chicago, 1983), by Mary Lynn Ritzenthaler, is published by the Society of American
Archivists as part of the "Basic Manual Series."
Another helpful guide in the "Basic Manual Series" is August R. Suelflow’s
Manual for Religious Archives (Chicago, 1980).
