Blessings - May 1, 2008

On the evening of May 1, 2008, scholarship recipients and the donors who sponsor them came together for a celebration of thanks at the 2008 Blessings event. This is an opportunity for all who are part of the scholarship equation - Luther's faithful donors and the future church leaders - to have an opportunity to share a meal and an evening prayer service.

At the event, President Richard Bliese shared his thanks to both the donors and the students, Gordon and Marilyn Eid shared the story of why they have given scholarship support to Luther Seminary students and Ben and Jen Quanbeck (both M.Div. Seniors) gave thanks on behalf of the students and shared their moving call stories. The program ended with the Holden Evening Prayer Service.
