Can I cash a check in the Business Office?
Yes. We accept personal checks from students, faculty & staff written to Luther Seminary for cash. There is a $50.00 limit per day. We do not accept third party checks or student-to-student checks.
Can I get a non-board plan for Dining Services?
Yes. You can open a non-board account by stopping in the Business Office or Dining Services and depositing money to an account.
Do I need a parking tag?
Yes. Every student that is on campus needs to have a parking tag. You can stop by the Business Office to fill out information regarding your vehicle and pick up a tag. There is no cost for this service.

Paying your balance online removes any warnings or holds faster.
Do you accept credit cards?
Yes. We accept payment via VISA and MasterCard. Please contact the Business Office directly at 651/641-3242.
Is there a graduation fee? How much?
Yes. There is a $100.00 graduation fee assessed during the final year.
Is there a late registration fee?
Yes. In effect at the end of the first 5 days of the semester for new registrations or changes in registration a $50.00 fee is charged.

What if I don't pay my balance in full?
Failure to pay your balance in full will result in you not being able to register for the upcoming term. It may also result in current registrations to be cancelled until all amounts previously owed have been satisfied. You will be unable to receive transcripts and diplomas with money owing.
When is my payment due?
Fall Semester is due October 15th, J-Term is due by January 15th and Spring Semester is due by March 15th. If you are on a payment plan, payments are due on the 15th of each month. Payment plans should be arranged in the Business Office prior to the due date.

Why do I have a hold on my account?
If you have a hold on your account it is because there is an outstanding balance. Contact the Business Office to make arrangements for payment to have your hold removed.

I have a credit balance, when will I receive my refund check
Refunds are mailed at your request. The Business Office cuts refund checks every Friday. You would need to contact the Business Office at (651) 641-3242 during business hours to have us issue a refund.
Your request needs to be made by 12:00pm the Wednesday before.
