Preaching PlagiarismThe year before I enrolled in seminary I taught at a prep school in Indiana.  In mid-April the school celebrated Parents' Weekend, one of the major events of the school year.  The chapel that Sunday morning was packed, and I knew the chaplain was under pressure to deliver a great sermon. And he did - it was well-crafted, worked creatively with the text, and proclaimed the gospel in a way that was both moving and accessible. It was, in short, a big hit with both the kids and their parents. Read more.
