God please bless the students, and staff at the Luther seminary with your clarity and a clear mind of the Holy Spirit. May God's joy and peace be with all of you...amen

I know you are not supposed to pray for yourself but I need some prayer to help me through the empty life I have created for myself. Please pray that I can find my way.

Lord, I pray that you would bless my brothers and sisters as they seek to do your will at Luther Seminary. Have mercy on them and carry them. Remind them that they can come to you when they are weary and heavy-laden, and that you will give them rest for your souls. Fill them with wisdom that comes from above, just as you promise to everyone who asks for them. Let them not be afraid nor dismayed, because you are with them wherever they go.

Speak to them clearly, in words they can understand. Let them not be discouraged or disheartened. Help them to lean on you and depend on you for all things, casting their cares upon you, because you care for them. Thank you that the weight of the world does not rest on their shoulders, and that you remain in control of the situation. Thank you that you have not forgotten about them, that you would never abandon them, and that you are pleased with them. Help them to see themselves, other people, and all situations the way that you do. Continue to bless them with a heavenly perspective. Let them not grow weary in doing good, but in due time, let them reap a harvest. Let them hear your voice above all others. Silence all of the discouraging voices that might try to permeate their minds. Keep their eyes fixed on you, and act quickly upon their prayers. In Jesus' name, amen.

My prayers and love to all of you at Luther and know we are all in support of you and know that the Lord will be with all of you.

Generous and loving God, thank you for raising up Luther Seminary as a place where students are guided, taught and nurtured to be leaders of your people. Bless this community now with patience in suffering, with gentleness, and with wisdom, good counsel, and courage. Comfort the grieving and guide us all into your good future, in Jesus' name. Amen.

God of all hope, you never promised we would always walk in the sun - but you promise to always walk beside us, even in the valley of the shadow of death. In these days of sorrow and uncertainty, lift our eyes to look to you, walking with us, leading us out of darkness into your marvelous light. May the Luther community know that we who watch and pray walk beside them as well: in grief and in hope for brighter days to come.

God of new life and resurrection, Hold Luther Seminary and all who represent it. Give courage, strength, wisdom to all -- but especially to those who must deliver hard news and those who must hear it. Hold tears and anger, anxiety and concerns. Continue to show glimpses of your hope and resurrection to those who need who need it most. In Jesus' holy name, Amen.

Gracious and healing God, I pray this day for the students, faculty, and staff of Luther during these times of trial. Guide them through their anxiety and fear, with courage, to the confidence we have in you. Bless them with your gracious presence. And thank you, bold and loving God, for the decades of faithful service that has been provided through the ministry of Luther Seminary, training students, bringing grace, and spreading your Word throughout the world. In Jesus' name. Amen.

God of love, you hold all people in your care. Walk with us in these difficult days. Give wisdom to those who must make painful decisions. Give comfort and hope to those who receive life-altering news. Be with your Church that we may be inspired to support one another, pray for one another, help each other in our times of need, and gather around our common hope in Jesus Christ, in whose name we pray. Amen.

Lord, your Word is as important as ever, calling us back to your steadfast love which alone can save us. Bless and sustain our seminaries as they equip those whose proclamation and leadership is still so needed in your Church and world! Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayer!

Loving Spirit, give your wisdom to those making tough decisions this week. Bless those who will receive difficult news and those who will remain. Our church and seminary needs you now. Amen.

Good and Gracious God, in the beginning, through darkness and chaos your Spirit blew and brought forth the gift of goodness in creation. May that same Spirit blow in surprising ways bringing new life and hope. Amen.

For the gifts I was given at Luther that I use every day: I give you thanks, Lord. For the professors who taught me what I know: I give you thanks, Lord. For the teachers who weren't professors, who gave me common-sense skills in navigating the church, I give you thanks Lord. For the administration, called to wrestle with difficult decisions, I ask for your wisdom, Lord. For the faculty and staff who will be released, I ask for peace, Lord. For those who are retained, who suffer 'survivor's guilt', I ask for peace, Lord. For the students, wondering what will come next, I ask for peace, Lord. Amen.

We give you thanks God for the gifts of faculty, staff and students at Luther Seminary. For those in anxiety, may you calm their fears and provide them hope for the future. We are grateful for their commitment and energy and pray your peace. May they know they are held in deep prayer by alumni and supporters of Luther throughout the world. In Christ's Name. Amen.

Dear Lord, the students and faculty and staff at Luther Seminary need your help and your blessings. We all need your help and your blessings. We ask you to send them now.

Since we have a great High Priest who has been tempted in every way as we are, yet without sin; we hold fast to our confession and are bold to come to the Throne of Grace asking for mercy that we might find grace and help in time of need. Oh Lord, the need is great for our seminaries, so we ask for the mercy we need to gracefully move into the future with your grace and help in this our time of need.

Dear Lord bring your peace to enfold all at Luther Sem. Be with all of the students, faculty and staff. I thank you for the people of Luther Sem. who bring such goodness to mine and so many lives. In Jesus name we pray Amen

Lord God, heavenly Father, you have guided your church at all times, both good and troubled. Please guide Luther Seminary, it's faculty, staff, and students in these days of transistion. Help it to be faithful to your word. Empower it with your Holy Spirit and lead it into the future trusting in you. In the name of Jesus Christ I pray. Amen

Holy God, send your Spirit to guide your people. Breathe into us creativity and boldness, that we might hear your Word and do your will. Bless those who seek your vision for Luther Seminary and those who will carry it out. In the name of Jesus we pray. Amen.

Gracious and merciful God, I pray for our seminaries in this time of transition at Luther, Pacific Lutheran, and Southern Seminary. Be with the students and faculty and staff at Luther as you lead them to discern your will for the leadership and direction of the seminary in the days to come. With Jesus in the Garden of Gethsemane, we pray: "Not our will but your will be done." In the name of our crucified and risen Lord Jesus. Amen.
