Mozilla Firefox Browser
Firefox is a speedy, full-featured browser that makes browsing
more efficient than ever before. It is our recommended alternative to Microsoft
Internet Explorer. Internet Explorer uses ActiveX which is a neat
way for web designers to do some nice things on your computer, but
it also opens a door for mischief makers to do things you don't want
on your computer. (See Anti-Spyware) IE also does not have any native control to block
popup windows which Firefox does. When you install Firefox, it will import your
bookmarks from IE. There may be times, such as when using HomeLab,
that you will have to use Internet Explorer. We recommend you use
Firefox for your primary browser and only use IE when you have to.
