mirror.luthersem.edu is a local server that contains popular open source/free software.  This site is to help expose people to popular open source software and to help conserve bandwidth on campus.  This site is only available on campus.  If you are off campus you will need to download from a different location.

• You may download and use any software from this server.
• All software on this server is free.
• Please use this mirror rather than downloading the same software from the Internet.  Not only will it be faster, but it helps to conserve our bandwidth.
• Downloads from this server are not subject to bandwidth limits.  
• Download an iso in 15 minutes from this server instead of 3-5 hours from a server on the Internet.  
• Files that end in .iso are images that can be burnt to cds.
• This mirror is only available on Luther's Network or from the LutherNet dialup.
