Farewell from April Winebrenner-Palo

As Tim mentioned in his piece on "Sending Well," the time has come for a farewell from me, your Ministry in Context editor, program coordinator, and office manager here at Contextual Learning. I will soon be leaving Luther to more fully pursue my interest in student leadership development and campus social justice work. My last day here at Luther will be Friday June 24.

From supporting our students, staff, faculty and partners to managing our website and communications, from facilitating our internship interview process to developing our Pray & Break Bread and cross-cultural education programming, I have so enjoyed my work at Contextual Learning and I have loved working with such a great team of staff and student workers. This was not a choice I took lightly, and it has been a very bittersweet decision. However, I am excited to move into new opportunities for growth in my career and begin new areas of responsibility, especially in student affairs and campus equity. And while I don't know all the details, I am hoping to land on my feet in this journey, and I am looking forward to the adventure very much. I will be leaving you in very capable hands here at Contextual Learning.

Thank you all for reading and enjoying this newsletter, for working with us, and for supporting our students and communities in the work of crafting trustworthy and healthy ministry leadership!
