Interested in Stewardship? New Events Upcoming!
From our colleagues in the Center for Stewardship Leaders: The Center for Stewardship Leaders at Luther Seminary provides educational and experiential opportunities for students, pastors and lay leaders to live more deeply into lives of stewardship leadership. There are a wide variety of resources available online at www.luthersem.edu/stewardship as well as periodic campus events that hopefully help to celebrate God’s abundance in all that is entrusted into our care.
Please take note of two upcoming presentations by Nathan Dungan. These presentations are designed for students or financial coaches but have broader appeal so are being made available via live stream to a larger audience. You are invited to come to campus to participate or link in at http://www.youtube.com/user/LutherSeminary/live.
Nathan, founder and president of Share Save Spend, is an industry thought-leader on helping youth and adults link their money decisions to their values. He speaks and consults nationally on the topic of money and the effects of the consumer culture on money habits.
Mind Your Money
August 25, 2014 / 1:00 to 2:30p.m. / Northwestern Hall #100

Money, Meaning and Faith: Financial Leadership in Communities of Faith
September 9, 2014 / 11 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., CST Northwestern Hall #100
Where do people go today to learn healthy money habits? In a world awash with consumer messages, it’s more difficult than ever to develop healthy money habits that honor both our values and our faith journey. Financial coaches have a unique opportunity to enhance and expand their relationships with students and congregants. Nathan will provide ideas and insights to help you be relevant and responsive in the current economic environment.
This session will include lunch so if you plan to attend on campus, please RSVP to Mary Steeber at email@example.com.
