Mentor Information: Pamela Stalheim Lane

Current position:Pastor
Please tell us a little bit about yourself as a Christian public leader:I was baptized on Christmas eve when I was but 19 days old and have been blessed ever since. I attended St. Olaf college and Luther Seminary in St. Paul. I continue my education through educational opportunities such as the Festival of Homiletics and Mission Redevelopment Conference but by updating technical skills such as the Staffing seminar. I was called to FLW first as a part time associate pastor and then 7 years ago as the solo pastor. I am also a supervisor for interns, on the Candidacy committee and a Police chaplain. My goal is to preach Christ and to shine and equip others to shine the light of Christ on friends, neighbors, others. My faith has been formed and transformed by parents, pastors, friends and children.
Please tell us a little bit about yourself as a mentor of students:I have worked with Luther Seminary interns, helping to prepare them to live a life of Christian public leadership in the role of a parish pastor. I share ministry, experiences and allow students to try new things. I encourage and seek to be a mentor and guide for the students as they explore the role of pastor.
