Cost:	Luther Seminary tuition for .5 credit course plus Program expense of approx. $300 per person. Additional cost to students: travel (to/from sites), meals, and lodging and transportation as needed.

Description:
This experience explores an intentional effort to create a new cultural reality in urban congregations in St. Paul. It is not about race or ethnicity, but about an introduction to the intentional development of urban ministry culture and disciplines of church based community organizing in a diverse, urban multicultural context. Site visits with pastors and lay leaders in St. Paul Area Synod Urban Strategy congregations. Examine the community, meet neighborhood residents and ride with community leaders, while exploring models for pastoral leadership. During your experience, please plan for DAILY FULL-TIME (9 to 5), plus Saturdays, Sundays, and some evening participation. Click here for last year's course schedule.
