Our Purpose

The Distinguished Dissertations in Christian Theology series provides for the publication of outstanding recent doctoral dissertations in the field of Christian systematic and moral theology. This series is sponsored by the Christian Theological Research Fellowship, and the journal Word & World:Theology for Christian Ministry. It is hosted and published online by Luther Seminary in Saint Paul, Minnesota (the publisher of Word & World).  Our print publisher is Pickwick Publications (Wipf and Stock) at www.wipfandstock.com.

Our Mission

The Christian Theological Research Fellowship is a distinctively Christian research organization in systematic and moral theology, and related disciplines. The society exists to promote and sustain fellowship and truth-seeking (fides quaerens intellectum) in theological reflection upon the Christian faith, within the mainstream of the Christian tradition. We see ourselves as a spiritual fellowship in service to the Church of Messiah Jesus.
