Welcome! Our Catering services are for the public as well as for the Seminary. We cater many styles of events, both informal and formal, and of a broad range of sizes.
Luther Seminary Dining Services is one of a very few privately run institutional food service operations left in the state of Minnesota. This characteristic enables us to work closely with you as our guest to create the event you envision, allowing greater flexibility and customization. Whether you are running a conference as a business or non-profit, planning a wedding, or gathering your family for a reunion, we can precisely meet your group's needs.
Please book any rooms you will be using before you book our catering services. You can do this by contacting Event Services or by filling out the online form.
We pride ourselves on being affordable without losing any quality, and we are committed to efficient, gracious, and prompt service for every event. We look forward to serving you!
Convenient
As an institution, we offer many benefits to our guests that make Luther Seminary a very convenient place to host events.
- Our facilities are extensive and varied:
There is ample space for events without over crowding, while securing a sense of privacy. We have rooms that will comfortably serve a small group of 10, and rooms where 200 guests would have space to enjoy the event.
- Our calendar, which follows the academic year, has a different "off-season" than that of hospitality related venues. Summers and the Holiday season typically have surprising availability for events.
- Weddings, especially, benefit from the offerings of an institution, where a chapel and a reception space are immediately available together, and where Catering is also a very simple matter to book and accomplish.
