Seminar Dates

Sessions are held on the campus of Luther Seminary in St. Paul, Minnesota.
Tuition and Fees
Tuition (for students admitted in 2012) is $11,500 for the entire program, payable in ten quarterly payments of $1,150. The balance for the first $1,150 payment (minus $400 confirmation fee) is due July 1 in the year the student begins the program. Thereafter, students are billed in October, January, April, and July for the remaining $1,150 payments.
In addition, there is a required annual technology/library fee of $100.
Required one-time fees include a thesis project fee (candidacy fee) of $600, assessed during the fourth year of the program, and a graduation fee of $100, assessesed when the thesis project is accepted, prior to Commencement.
The program is structured to enable students to complete it in five years. Students continuing after the fifth year will be assessed a $500 per year continuation fee.

Travel and Living Expenses
Students will be required to bear travel and living expenses. Limited housing is typically available in Stub Hall on Luther Seminary's campus. Information about on campus and other housing options is available upon receipt of a confirming deposit.
Scholarships and Financial Aid
Many persons enrolled in D.Min. programs receive significant financial support from their congregations, synods, judicatories, denominational agencies, etc. At present, no scholarship or other financial aid is directly available from Luther Seminary.
