The Book of Faith Initiative vs. the Bulletin of Faith Initiative
The long-held tradition in my last congregation was to read the Word of God out of the bulletin, not the Bible. The consequences of this decision were devastating on this small congregation. Once we provided Bibles in worship the congregation embraced the initiative with gusto. People wanted to return to Scripture. They just needed help getting started.

From Mexico to Saint Paul: Students Reflect on Cross Cultural Experiences
Students from five different seminaries to traveled to Mexico in January as part of a cross cultural experience designed to help students gain self-knowledge, cross-cultural understanding, explore theological themes and implications for ministry, and learn basic sensitivities to develop effective cross-cultural ministry in a diverse and multicultural world.
