Heidi Droegemueller accepted the position of vice president of seminary relations at Luther Seminary. She was elected by the board of directors and endorsed by the board of trustees to serve in this position. She started May 4.
Droegemueller brings a wealth of development experience in a variety of nonprofit organizations. She was most recently the vice president of development at CaringBridge in Eagan, Minn. Prior to that, she was the director of development and individual giving at the Minnesota Orchestra in Minneapolis. She also served as the director of major gifts and planned giving at the Phoenix Children’s Hospital in Phoenix, Ariz. Droegemueller received a Bachelor of Music degree in music theory at Concordia College in Moorhead, Minn., and a professional certificate in nonprofit management from Arizona State University in Tempe, Ariz.
Droegemueller is a proven leader with experience in all aspects of building strong relationships, donor-centered fundraising, strategic planning, foundation grants and volunteer supervision. She is known for leading teams to meet their goals while simultaneously increasing effectiveness and efficiency.
She looks forward to tapping her strengths and values to ensure that philanthropic relationships grow and thrive in support of our mission of educating leaders for Christian communities.
