The Beloved Community Scholars program develops Christian public leaders who form and lead communities with prophetic imagination around issues of social, climate, economic and racial justice concerns for all people.
Beloved Community Scholars will experience theological formation and leadership development relevant for today’s world. Luther Seminary provides contextual experiences and theological education that is transformational and effective in cross-cultural, racial, ecumenical and other diverse settings. The program will provide a seminary experience designed to challenge attitudes, actions, values and thinking to enable the types of leadership that matter and make a difference.
To be eligible for a scholarship ranging from 60-100% of tuition costs, students need to be admitted to one of Luther Seminary’s M.A. or M.Div. programs. They must also demonstrate a commitment to building a beloved community.
We invite you to complete the scholarship application process and participate in Scholarship Weekend, February 26-27, 2017.
