Christ is risen! He is risen indeed! What a joy to share this amazing Easter proclamation with you. It is a message of hope that we can say repeatedly to encourage one another and share the good news of God’s astonishing love with everyone we encounter.
A lot has happened in the world in the last year. Thankfully, we can rely on the risen Lord to get us through all the challenges we face. We don’t need to pretend it’s easy or that everything is OK. However, we can continually turn to the risen Christ and say:
Restore us to your love.
Renew us in your promise to be for the world.
Revitalize us in your horizon of hope as you open a new future.
Remind us you are risen from the dead.
If you want to experience another Easter worship experience this week, please join us on Wednesday, Apr. 19 at 11 a.m. CDT as artist, pastor and alum Paul Oman shares the Easter news with us in chapel through his paint brushes. Read the story in this newsletter about his ability to “Draw the Word” and bring it alive in a larger-than-life mural. You are welcome to join us in person in the Olson Campus Center or online.
May the Easter proclamation, “Christ is risen!” spark anew in you the promises of God and open ways to share that good news with others.
