Luther Seminary auction and talent show puts fun toward a good cause

Luther Seminary's annual auction and variety show raised more than $3,500 for the ELCA Disaster Response Fund. About 400 faculty, staff, students and members of the community participated in the fun and fund-raising.

Professor of Old Testament Fred Gaiser gave in an extra special way. He won more donations than Professor of Church History Walter Sundberg and Academic Dean Rollie Martinson, winning him the opportunity to color his hair green. His winning tally came in at more than $300.
