We give thanks for the nearly 7,000 donors who made a gift to Luther Seminary this past fiscal year. Each year, gifts to Luther Seminary help prepare current and future church leaders with education and resources that are vital in their ongoing ministries. Here are just a few of the ways generous donors make a big difference:
- This fall we welcomed 696 new and returning students across all degree programs.
- Luther has 58 international students from 23 countries.
- We sent out 132 new graduates to serve around the world.
- 85 percent of all incoming students received merit-based scholarships.
- Lifelong learning programs grew by nearly 600 participants.
- KAIROS and Lay School continued to grow as many people joined by webcast.
- The 2013 Festival of Homiletics hosted nearly 1,800 preachers and pastors, up 33 percent over 2012.
- In 2013, WorkingPreacher.org topped 2 million visits (compared to 1.5 million visits for 2012).
Thank you for your support.
