Presiding Bishop Eaton to visit campus on Martin Luther King Jr. Day

After this I looked, and there was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, from all tribes and peoples and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, robed in white, with palm branches in their hands.—Revelation 7:9

On Monday, Jan. 20, the seminary will welcome ELCA Presiding Bishop Elizabeth Eaton to campus as we observe Martin Luther King Jr. Day. We are thrilled that our new presiding bishop will be joining us on such an important occasion.

A team of students, staff and faculty are preparing a day filled with uplifting worship, delicious food, interesting conversations and meaningful presentations. It will be a day when we reflect on the significance of Martin Luther King Jr.'s influence, as well as the importance of the civil rights movement for people around the world.

Please join us for these activities, which include meaningful worship and communion. All events are free and open to the public.
