On May 14, Luther Seminary Professor David Lose was named president of the Lutheran Theological Seminary at Philadelphia (LTSP).
Lose currently serves as Luther Seminary’s Marbury E. Anderson Chair of Biblical Preaching and the director of the Center for Biblical Preaching. As director, he started the free resource WorkingPreacher.org, which receives 2.4 million visits annually from preachers in more than 200 countries. We’re grateful for Lose’s contributions as both a professor and visionary. His strong leadership will ensure that WorkingPreacher.org will continue to thrive at Luther Seminary. We look forward to his ongoing contributions to the site as well.
Lose is an alumnus of LTSP, where he received both his Master of Divinity and Master of Sacred Theology degrees. He will step into the role of president at the end of the summer. We extend our congratulations to him as he pursues his next call.
