Chapel of the Cross
Chapel History and Setting: The Chapel of the Cross is located in Northwestern Hall, which was built in 1967. The brick room has the general shape of a Greek cross. Four columns of small, colored windows punctuate the walls in front and back. A permanent bronze sculpture of Christ on the cross rises among the pews. A bronze candelabra holding 7 candles hangs above the freestanding altar. Heavy stone slabs create the altar, pulpit and baptismal font. A Cassavant organ and rebuilt 1901 Steinway grand piano are located in the rear of the chapel. The chapel is air-conditioned.
Capacity: There are 3 sections of pews and four aisles. This is a comfortable capacity of 175. Additional chairs can be added if necessary.
Audio: The Chapel of the Cross does not have or require a sound system.
Video: You may hire your own videographer to have your wedding recorded.
Rental Fee and Services: A non refundable deposit is required to confirm rental of the chapel, with the balance due two weeks prior to your wedding day. Fees will be discussed after having received the Initial Wedding Information Form. The following are included in the chapel rental:

Chapel of the Incarnation
Chapel History and Setting: The Chapel of the Incarnation is located in the Olson Campus Center, which was built in 1985. Warm colors of sand-molded brick, a wood ceiling, red oak pews and quarry tile floor create a striking interior. A Holtkamp organ and Yamaha grand piano are located in the chancel. The chapel is air-conditioned.
Capacity: The pews are set on a sloped floor, in a nonsymmetrical arrangement, around three sides of the altar. A center aisle and two side aisles divide the sections. The chapel's capacity is 640.
Audio: A Luther Seminary sound technician is present in the Chapel of the Incarnation for the rehearsal and the wedding ceremony. The technician will set up all required sound equipment and monitor sound levels during the wedding.
Video: You may hire your own videographer to have your wedding recorded.
