Generous Gifts Make a Difference!

DONOR DOLLARS AT WORK: Friends and alumni/ae give to ensure seminarians are 100 percent equipped to lead in mission. Donor support makes up 51 percent of Luther Seminary’s operating revenue when combining outright gifts and endowment income. Luther Seminary depends on faithful gifts from friends and alums to support future church leaders. These gifts fund everything from day-to-day operations to faculty resources to student scholarships and new technologies.

Luther Seminary awarded $2.6 million in financial aid for the 2012-13 academic year. Financial aid covers approximately 43 percent of the cost of tuition. On average, a student receives $5,227 per year in schoarships and grants. Scholarships and tuition support make it possible for students to say "Yes!" to God's call!
