Thrivent Financial for Lutherans: GivingPlus
Help Luther Seminary receive the largest
member matching gift check from Thrivent ever! Make your
gift early in 2007 to ensure
Thrivent
Financial for Lutherans has adequate
funds to match your gift!
Are you a Thrivent member age 16 or older?
If so, you can have your gift to Luther Seminary matched fifty
cents per dollar, for a maximum match of $300, through Thrivent’s GivingPlus
matching gift program. If you make multiple gifts throughout the year, no
problem! Thrivent will match each one until you reach the $300 maximum total
match.
How many institutions can you donate to and receive a match from
Thrivent?
Two! We hope you’ll choose Luther Seminary as one of them.
By increasing the value of your gift through the Thrivent GivingPlus matching
gift program, your gift will have an even greater impact on the future of the
church. GivingPlus matching gifts are a benefit of
policy holding members of Thrivent.
Want to see an example?
Jim & Sue Smith are both members of Thrivent Financial for
Lutherans. In addition, they have two children ages 16 & 18 who are members.
Together they give $2,400 to Luther Seminary ($600 each). They each submit a
request to Thrivent for a member match and Luther Seminary receives an
additional $1,200! Total value of the family gift equals $3,600.
Imagine if every one of Luther Seminary’s nearly 7,000 donors had
their gifts matched.
Do you have three minutes?
