Description: |
Engage in activities that will develop and nurture the relationship between your congregation and Luther Seminary. This involves communicating the mission of Luther Seminary within your congregation, publicizing information about seminary events and programs, sharing interesting parts of your congregation's ministry with the seminary, and helping to identify individuals in the church who have gifts for ministry and/or can share financial resources. |

Purpose: |
The mission of Luther Seminary is to educate leaders for Christian communities. In order to be faithful to this calling, it is important to establish and nurture relationships with these communities. The Ambassdors Program is designed to do this. |

Time Commitment: |
Approximately 2-4 hours per month |
|
Training: |
Ambassadors receive a Resource Guide and Training Manual, Ambassadors receive a quarterly, Events Calendar and Task Check-Off List, Ambassadors gather for a special event during Reformation Festival to learn about a specific part of seminary life and share experiences |

Supervision: |
The Coordinator of Volunteer Programs manages the Ambassadors Program. |
