The GMI is one resource for local congregations across denominational lines in providing speakers on issues of World Christianity. Luther Seminary is blessed and enriched by the presence of about 70 international students from approximately 26 different countries every year. These students are leaders of the church who come to obtain/attain advance degrees to be equipped for their future ministry. See a list of International Student Biographies. in addition, the GMI connects with domestic students who have served as missionaries around the world and students whose country of origin is outside the U.S.

Examples of events include Mission Sunday speakers/preachers, adult forum speakers, Sunday school speakers, Women's fellowship speakers, Men's fellowship speakers, speakers for assemblies as well as for Bible Camps. For more information about arranging to have a student speaker, please e-mail the GMI at Please include the date, type of presentation (adult forum, sermon), topic, time frame, church or organization, location, your title and contact information.
