Program Fees
- Tuition Fees: $5,000 (4.0 course credits = 12
semester hours; includes $200 Spanish language fee)
- Room and Board Fees: $2,600 (includes on-site &
off-site lodging and meals)
Mexico City Semester Program Fees are comparable
to those of a Luther Seminary MDiv or MA student taking
4.0 credits,
living on campus and participating in the
board plan for one semester.
Luther Seminary students can apply for scholarship funds
through the Global Mission Institute. Contact

Additional Fees
-
Health Insurance – Like all seminary students
enrolled in full-time classes on campus, Mexico City
Semester Program students must participate in
the Seminarian Health Insurance Plan or some other
comparable plan. Luther Seminary Students should contact the Luther
Seminary Business Office for more information. Students from
other ELCA seminaries should contact the office responsible
for health insurance on their campus.
- Airline Ticket – Students are responsible for
purchasing their own airline tickets. Contact
the GMI Office
(651-641-3487) at the Global Mission Institute at Luther
Seminary before making reservations.
- Optional Spanish Language for Ministry –
Students are strongly encouraged to participate in the summer
Spanish Language for Ministry course. Additional fees include room, board, three weeks of intensive Spanish
instruction, educational materials, cultural activities and
local excursions. Students are responsible for additional
transportation to language school. Click

Financial Aid
Financial Aid is available for Luther Seminary students as it
would be for on-campus study during the 2009-10 academic year.
Contact the
Luther Seminary Financial Aid Office
for more information. Students from
other ELCA seminaries
should contact their financial aid offices.

The application
deadline for Fall 2009 is June 1, 2009. Students from other ELCA seminaries must first
apply as non-degree students to the Luther Seminary Office
of Admissions.

*Note: $250 of total deposit is non-refundable after June 30,
