Academy for Evangelism in Theological Education

"The Academy for Evangelism in Theological Education (AETE) was founded to offer those who teach evangelism at the seminary level and those who practice the ministry of evangelism in parish settings a collegial academy for the sharing of ideas and concepts related to their life's work.  The academy meets each year in October to exchange teaching methods, theological insights, trends in evangelism, the review of texts, and experiences that will serve as resources to colleagues."

Concordia Language Villages

For nearly 50 years, Concordia Language Villages, in the beautiful North Woods of Minnesota, has been boldly and optimistically pursuing a vision of peace and understanding by introducing learners to the languages and cultures of our world. Our mission: to prepare young people for responsible citizenship in our global community. We are language advocates. We think it’s important for people to learn more than one language, and we want to help as many people as we can to do just that. We promote travel, even offering our own study abroad programs, so language learners can utilize their growing language skills and learn to communicate more independently within real-live communities. We have programs for all ages, from preschool programs for tiny tots to Elderhostel programs just for seniors, from family programs where all ages can learn together to adults-only programs where professionals can polish their skills.

Dictionary of African Christian Biography

The DACB is an online, multilingual, non-proprietary memory base containing over 1,000 biographies of African pioneers, evangelists, lay leaders, catechists, women, martyrs, theologians and leaders; the articles are written by Africans and non-Africans. This project is undertaken in collaboration with 121 participating institutions in Africa. DACB is a program of the Overseas Ministries Study Center.
