God's Name is Surprise: Stories of Faith in Luke-Acts
Luther Seminary : Lay School of Theology :
Spring 2008
| Faith is not so much a possession as a story, an unfolding journey of discovery and discipleship. Touched by God's grace, our lives intersect with others and the world in which we live in new and surprising ways. Stories from Luke-Acts will invite reflection on faith around the central themes of Call, Obedience, Transformation, Persuasion, and Mission. These perspectives explore the way each of our faith stories is shaped by and shapes our hearing of the gospel within a community of faith and within an expectant world. |
