Speakers

Rabbi Cytron, director of the Jay Phillips Center holds both bachelors and masters degrees from Columbia University, ordination from the Jewish Theological Seminary of America and a Ph.D. from Iowa State University. He teaches courses at Saint John’s University, Luther Seminary, Macalester College, The Saint Paul Seminary, and the University of St. Thomas.

Kathryn Schifferdecker

Dr. Schifferdecker joined the Luther Seminary faculty in 2006 as assistant professor of Old Testament. Schifferdecker is a member of the Society of Biblical Literature. Her professional experience includes working as an adjunct instructor of Old Testament at Luther Seminary and as a teaching fellow at Harvard Divinity School and editorial assistant at the Harvard Theological Review.
