This gateway resource integrates the New Grove Dictionary of Music and Musicians (2nd ed); Oxford Dictionary of Music, and the Oxford Companion to Music.  Articles on composers, performers, terminology, musical genres, etc. can be searched from the main Search box.  Full text searches for key terms within articles may also be made using Advanced Search.  The dictionary will be updated several times annually with new information, corrections, fresh hyperlinks, and sound files.
