As spiritual leaders of the church, you are called to provide spiritual guidance to your parishioners. But where do you go to obtain your own spiritual guidance? The time at Spirit in the Desert is designed to focus on your own spiritual journey. It will be a time to look at what makes your life whole through spiritual, emotional, physical, social, financial and intellectual wellness. The work of a parish pastor can bring challenges to being centered and finding wholeness. This time away in the desert—a quiet, serene environment—will provide the time, space and materials to guide you on your own spiritual journey. Afternoons will be free from scheduling so you can relax. You are encouraged to take a day for yourself on either end of the class for rest and reflection.
