This study invites us to look at the book of Romans as a pastoral letter from Paul and will include an overview of the time, place, and purpose of the letter. We will look at the way the letter as a whole is laid out and some key concepts and passages. In addition, and perhaps most importantly, we will discuss teaching this letter. Romans is a long letter, densely packed with meaning and often written in language that can be confusing. Together we will explore ways to get into Romans AND gain some insight for our own lives.
The leader's guides, companion Bibles and journals are available for purchase through the Luther Seminary Bookstore. Call 651-641-3440 or 800-541-4187 or e-mail bookstore@luthersem.edu.
