Taking Courses for Graduate Credit

All 2004-2005 KAIROS courses marked with an asterisk (*) have potential for a half-course graduate credit as an independent study course for degree programs by those who already have either been admitted to a degree program or granted non-degree student status at Luther.

To Register for Kairos Classes for Academic Credit

  1. Register with the KAIROS office; indicate you are taking the class for academic credit.

  2. Register with the Seminary Registrar’s office for an Independent Study Course.

  3. Pay the tuition fee for a half-credit course at the Business Office. Tuition for D.Min. students is transferable under the student’s basic tuition for the D.Min. program.

  4. Contact the graduate credit advisor to arrange for graduate credit assignments. The graduate credit advisor is listed with the class information.

Once a student registers for academic credit, no drops will be accepted without a financial penalty.
