Center for Missional Leadership
A new era of mission calls for new missional
leaders.
Do you feel called to be a missional
leader in today's changing world? Mission is no longer just about
reaching across oceans. We have to reach across our own backyards as
well. Are you ready to think of mission in a new way?
Welcome to Luther Seminary's Center for
Missional Leadership, a strategic initiative that brings focus to
the seminary's charge to develop apostolic leaders for a new era of
mission in today's changing world. This initiative across four
degree programs (M.A., M.Div., D.Min., Ph.D.) is supported by a
teaching team of faculty from multiple disciplines.
The Center for Missional Leadership is a
collaborative learning and leadership network involving scholars,
students, and local church and denominational leaders across the
globe. It is focused on engaging the diverse contexts for the gospel
through rigorous theological and social scientific inquiry, with a
particular interest in congregations as they participate in God's
life and mission.
We're eager to interact with missional leaders
like you, as we learn, grow and enter into this new era of mission
together.
Visit us often to learn more about Luther
Seminary's degree programs with a Congregational Mission and
Leadership emphasis, the research generated by our faculty and
students, publications in the field and upcoming events.
Join top scholars, denominational leaders, mission
directors and church planters from across the country and around the
world gathering to discuss how the Spirit is leading in the planting
of missional congregations for a new apostolic era.
