Registration Holds
Holds are placed on registrations for the following reasons:
- Outstanding Business Office Accounts (Business Office)
- Outstanding Library Account (Library)
- Immunizations Records not on file (Dean of Students Office)
- Bible Proficiency Exam - NOT CURRENTLY IN USE. As of July 1, 2010, the BPE will no longer be required of students who are entering Luther Seminary. It will also be removed from the list of non-degree requirements for current Luther Seminary students. BPE holds on current students will be removed by the Registrar.
- Greek Not Yet Completed - Master of Divinity students who have completed 10 full semester courses (or equivalent) but have not completed Greek will have a hold on their registration until Greek is complete. New Testament core courses cannot be registered for until Greek is complete. (Registrar)
Students with holds placed on their registration will not be allowed to enroll until the holds have been removed. It is the student's responsibility to clear the hold with the office that has placed the hold (as noted in parentheses above) and then notify the Office of the Registrar when the hold has been cleared.
