Registration and Course Information
summer term 2011-2012 Registration
Summer Term registration through MyLutherNet opened on April 12 by class status and will close on Tuesday, June 5 (3pm in person/6pm online). Any changes to Summer schedules after June 5 must be made by contacting the Office of the Registrar.
FALL SEMESTER 2012-2013 REGISTRATION
Registration for students will be open from July 10, 2012 through September 11, 2012 at 6:00 p.m. (3:00 p.m. if done in person). ALL students will be re-classified during June so be sure to check your class status as of July 4, BEFORE you prepare to register online.

- FALL SEMESTER 2012-2013 course schedule is available by clicking the link to the left (Course Offerings/ Web Searchable) and in MyLutherNet under Registration/Course Search.
- Please clear all holds before registering. Business Office accounts must be paid in full in order for the hold to come off a student's record. If the Business Office agrees to override a hold, please notify registrar@luthersem.edu with their email approval and your schedule request(s).
- FALL SEMESTER registration form is COMING SOON. Please print off and mail in after JULY 27. Registration requests will be processed as time permits.
- FALL SEMESTER online registration will be open from the dates listed above through Tuesday, September 11, 2012 at 6:00 p.m. In person registration will end at 3:00 p.m. that day.
- RECLASSIFICATIONS OF ALL STUDENT STATUSES will be done during June. Students may see their class status on MyLutherNet under the Personal Info link up by their name on the upper right corner. Please check this in early July to see your new classification.
2012-2013 COURSE SCHEDULES AND REGISTRATION
Course schedules for the 2012-2013 academic school year are posted to the right. Registration for Fall Semester ONLY begins in July by class status. Students are re-classified as needed during June - after Spring grades are entered. Students can find their class status on MyLutherNet under the Personal Info/Academic Info tab. Registration for J-Term occurs in mid-October. Registration for Spring Semester is held in early December. NO re-classifying of student status will be done for either the J-Term or Spring registration periods.
CLASS STATUS (RECLASSIFICATION) may be seen in MyLutherNet on the Personal Info link at the top right side by your sign in name. Note: MDIV Seniors have completed internship (or had it waived by Contextual Leadership) and have completed 20 or more credits. MDIV Middlers have completed between 10 and 19.5 credits. MDIV Juniors have completed 9.5 or fewer credits. Completed credits includes ONLY courses that have been graded (NR, Incompletes, etc. do not count toward earned credits) and does NOT include the prerequisite Greek's 1.5 credits. MA Seniors have completed 9 or more credits. MA Juniors have completed 8.5 or fewere credits. Reclassifications are made in mid-June as announced based on credits that were earned/completed at the end of Spring Semester (after Spring grades due date). Luther Seminary reserves the right to cancel classes based on inadequate registration and cannot assume responsibility for notifying anyone who is not already registered.Some classes are limited in enrollment due to pedagogical design or classroom size. Priority in the registration process is given to Luther Seminary degree program students for all Luther Seminary courses.
