Online Registration
Directions
For returning
students and newly admitted students who have received a letter from
admissions/computer services confirming their admission to Luther
Seminary indicating their student ID number and MyLutherNet password:

questions/directions. You will find information there on how
to register for courses, check your degree progress, find your
course schedule, check your holds, log into MyLutherNet, pay bills
online, print an unofficial transcript and update your personal
information.
Independent
Studies/Audits/UpGrades:
May NOT be registered online. Independent Study forms for MA, MDiv,
and MSM students must be signed and returned to the Office of the
Registrar. Independent Study and upgrade forms for all MTH and PHD
(GTE) students must be signed by both instructor and the Associate
Dean of Graduate Studies and returned to the Office of Graduate
Theological Education.
The Office of the Registrar reserves the right to drop any class for
any student where:

Prerequisite has not
yet been met;
§
Courses are outside the
student’s division/degree program (i.e., MDIV students may not
register for PHD 8000-level courses; MDIV students may not register
for MSM courses (MU5000-level courses). In order to take courses
outside their division, MA, MDiv and MSM students must obtain
written permission from the instructor; all Graduate Theological
Education students must obtain written permission of both the
instructor and the associate dean.); and/or
§
Courses are outside the
student’s status level (i.e., MDIV juniors/middlers/interns may not
register for senior-level 3000-level courses).
Student
Responsibility:
- Be sure to
view your schedule after completing all transactions; it’s your
responsibility to verify your registration.
- Be sure to
logout after completing all transactions for security reasons.

On-line registration cannot occur and in-person/mail-in forms cannot be processed if a student has a
hold on their record. Clear all holds as soon as possible.
